It’s Time!

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal…”
~ Philippians 3:13-14

Happy New Year, Dear Readers! January 1, 2014. The start of a brand-new year.

It’s time to stop looking back. Time to overlook bygone disappointments. Time to forget our past faults and failings. Time to stop crying over spilt milk. Time to forgive old slights and hurts. (God has forgiven us, if we’ve asked Him.) Today is the time for bright beginnings!

As Saint Paul wisely advised in his quotation above, it’s time to move forward to accomplish great things. Time to make a positive difference wherever we are, whenever we can.

It’s time not just to dream dreams. It’s time to make them happen!

It’s time. Go for it!

  1. Hooray ! What a wonderful BLOG!! And I’m so glad to read the essay on Veterans Day – and the memories of your Dad!! When we remember what was happening in those war torn days, it helps put into perspective how our country is being challenged now as we begin the new year. May those memories reinforce our determination to do all we can to preserve our great country and its values for the children in the coming generation of Americans!
